We have been the exclusive supplier of advanced dual-field-of-view infrared optical assemblies for incorporation into the MK20 and MK46 weapons directors for more than five years.
General Dynamics' long-range thermal imagers have been integrated with the targeting systems of Sea Sparrow missiles, providing improved medium range shipboard defense capabilities. Other developments underway will provide detection and defense against unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV).
